Bringing my experience as a counsellor to work with your needs
About Me
My name is Charlotte Usher and I am a Registered Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work according to the BACP ‘Ethical Framework for Counsellors’, and also the BACP guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy*.
I am an experienced counsellor and have worked with a wide range of clients across all ages, in both the corporate and community sectors, in private practice, and in schools.
I have a Counselling Diploma from training at the BACP Accredited Counselling Centre in Tunbridge Wells, where I spent several years working in their team.
Alongside my private clients, I have previously spent several years with AXA Health as a Psychological Needs Assessor, and online counsellor for corporate clients.
I have also trained to provide counselling for children and young people with the organisation Place2be, and worked in several schools across Kent and Sussex.
I am entirely open-minded and encouraging of diversity within my practice. I have a natural curiosity for difference and I like to discover and self-educate on issues that affect people from all different groups of society. I have worked in multi-cultural settings within the UK.
I have also lived and worked abroad, and have a good connection to European culture.
My Time Counselling brings all my experience as a counsellor together, enabling me to provide a therapy that will work with your needs.
